centrally located, centrally located, centrally located
My Standard Double Room offered a fantastic view overlooking the Cloth Hall, allowing me to soak in the atmosphere. The breakfast spread was good, with crispy bacon and scrambled eggs, alongside pastries, made for an excellent start to the day.
do recommend 😊❤️

Loved the standard double room I had with shower, nice outdoor terrace, up-aircon. A hair dryer, guest toiletries and bath sheets were available there. The location was best possible, within walking distance of Ramparts War Museum.

missingWrote a review on 29 Novgreat viewsdecent breakfastpoor parking
The hotel offers great views of the Cloth Hall from some rooms, a definite plus for sightseers. Breakfast features a mix of self-serve options, including fresh bread and good coffee, catering to varied tastes.
Parking can be tricky. There's no dedicated hotel parking, and while free options exist, they are a bit of a trek. The rooms can be surprisingly small and lack thorough cleanliness, like dust and debris in corners and under furniture. Lighting arrangements are poorly designed-overbearing fixtures can be uncomfortable, while bedside lamps provide too little light. The water pressure on the second floor is abysmally low, and the overall noise can disrupt your rest.

New wwii theme hotel. Still putting the finishing touches but great idea and worth a visit. Great location for the main Sq and Menin Gate etc.No parking but was not a problem, plenty of side streets and parking on the main Sq.
As with most european hotels, no coffee or tea facilities in the room.

The hotel is well-situated, with key attractions like Menin Gate and numerous restaurants just a short walk away. The staff provided really good service, quickly addressing issues like the non-functioning wifi. My room, while not large, had functional amenities and was comfortable for the one-night stay.

Location excellent for visiting the First World War Sites and my Grandfathers war grave. As my granddaughter had just finished her degree at university in History and English and her final year dissitation was on Tunnelling and Mining on Ypres Saliant and the Messines Ridge which she passed with honers and it being are 4th consecitive visit to the area we chose the hotel as it replaced the previous hotel we stayed in. The staff were excellent and the hotel decore was totally fitting for the area visiting.

The location of the hotel was very central - 5 minutes walk to the Menin Gate and the Grand Markt. The hotel is obviously very new and is very comfortable and has adopted a theme for the decor which is ww1 - this is a bit disconcerting at first as could be a 'gimmick' the rooms for instance are painted in a dark khaki colour and there are various items associated with soldiers strategically placed within the room for decor effect. Obviously completely right for the location as I cannot imagine that Ypres is visited other than to see the effects of ww1. But this does not detract from the comfort of the beds, cleaniness, amenities and the breakfast was plentiful and fresh - so overall I think the hotel is quite good.
Nothing too much - the rooms were a little on the small size - and the khaki decor is a bit much at first - but it grows on you and is ok.

Nice friendly staff who made us feel very welcome throughout. The room was very comfortable and it's unique design made it different to other hotels so it will definitely be remembered! Great location for visiting the Menen Gate and other memorial landmarks.
We had difficulty in finding the hotel as it is simply called Hotel O now so it may be worth letting people know this when they are booking.

Positive, I stayed for 4 nights in a Standard Double Room. The view of the square was amazing. The bed was huge and super comfy. Location is perfect, close to everything. The heating kept the room cozy during chilly days ☕

The Manager and the lady assistant were very friendly, courteous and informative regarding information re ww1 visits. The WW1 theme to the hotel also works well.
No adverse comments to make. Ref our stay, it was extended to 2 nights.

The friendly, helpful assistance from the breakfast room supervisor. The hotel is about 20 metres from the'Groote Markt' and only about 500 metres from the Menin Gate, one could not have got closer to the centre of Ypres. The 'Last Post' ceremony is a must at 20:00hrs every evening.
